Special Drawing Rights (SDR) - a type of international money created by the International Monetary Fund and allocated to it's member nations. It is made up of a basket of major currencies, and can be used by countries with balance of payments deficits to settle debts with another country or to the IMF. Special Drawing Rights are based on exchange rates for the U.S. Dollar, British Pound, European Euro, and Japanese Yen.
